Since 2011, we have been listening to local demand, learning from the experts and evolving our plan at Moonacre to make the most out of the land. We care about the food that goes into your bellies and dedicate ourselves to providing the best quality produce all year round. We grow in a way that enriches the land, works with the seasons and enables us to offer the best quality food to the people we love.
The Farm
Based in Kilmersdon, near Frome , Moonacre Farm has this year returned to growing produce for market in response to the extraordinary times we face globally and locally.
We use only organic and biodynamic seeds, compost to raise our plants and organic and local feed for our animals. As far as possible the Bio-dynamic farm strives to be self- contained but we are lucky to be able to work closely with our local organic and biodynamic farmers when we need to import anything we need.
The Veg
Our biodynamic produce is food you can trust, food that feeds the ecosystem and food that is down right delicious! Since moving to Moonacre almost 10 years ago, the veg growing has become a firm focus and the produce, now more than ever is thriving. Having just launched our Mystery boxes, you can enjoy the fruits of the farm at home!

Who we are
We are a small family business and will do our best to bring you the finest produce we can grow. It is our hope to be part of a network of local producers who together could make food production more resilient, sustainable , delicious and nutritious . We hope to make this happen on a human scale in an environment of mutual growth, learning with and from nature and each other.
The Bio-dynamic farm is seen as a holistic entity with all living things involved playing a vital role.
